General

We at the Ariel Municipal Company (hereinafter: “the Company”) are committed to protecting the privacy of users on our website. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and with whom it may be shared.

Types of Information Collected

While using this site, information about you is collected. Some of it personally identifies you—if you provide it voluntarily:

  1. Contact forms: name, email, phone, and message content.
  2. Careers forms: personal details, CV/résumé, and accompanying documents.

Some information does not personally identify you and is not stored together with your details. This is statistical/aggregated information, e.g.: IP address, browser, cookies, and statistical data used to improve user experience.

In addition, information for marketing purposes may be collected—data used for targeting and media campaigns (e.g., Google, Meta), subject to user consent.

Purposes of Use

  1. Responding to inquiries received via the “Contact Us” form, including referral to the relevant department (HR, accounting, events, etc.).
  2. Processing job applications, including transferring information (such as CVs) to additional parties as needed for recruitment (Municipality / external programs).
  3. Managing personalized marketing campaigns via digital media systems.
  4. Operating the site and improving user experience.

Sharing Information with Third Parties

  1. Service providers: We may use external providers for IT services, site maintenance, mailing systems, and security services.
  2. External systems: Ticket purchases are handled via an external website; kindergarten payment services are provided via an external link. Use of those sites is subject to their own privacy policies.
  3. Regulation / Legal requirements: We will disclose information as necessary to comply with legal requirements or an authorized authority.

Data Retention

  1. Contact-form inquiries are retained solely for handling and follow-up.
  2. CVs are retained for a reasonable period for recruitment processes (up to two years) and then deleted or retained for future purposes subject to consent.
  3. Technical/statistical information may be retained for analytics and marketing.

User Rights

Every user has the right to:

  1. Receive information about how their details are used.
  2. Request correction, update, or deletion of personal information.
  3. Withdraw consent at any time for use in direct marketing or targeted campaigns.

A pop-up for entering an email address for mailing purposes may be shown later on. Subscription will be based on explicit consent only, with an opt-out option at any time.
