Pais Arena is located in Jerusalem’s Sports Quarter and is considered the largest and only multipurpose indoor arena of its kind in Israel. Its design was based on the modern international concept for stadiums and multipurpose halls, which emphasizes that such venues should be bustling with activity all year round.

The Arena covers a total area of 47,000 m² and includes 11,014 seats, offering maximum, high-quality viewing from every point.

It features 7 levels, a 2,400 m² arena floor, 12 stands, and 16 VIP suites, as well as a multipurpose hall with 216 seats.

At the center of the roof is Europe’s largest LED cube, which serves as both a video screen and scoreboard, with a total display area of approx. 200 m² visible from four sides, accompanied by an impressive LED ring surrounding it.

The Arena’s 16 VIP suites are evenly distributed along the eastern and western sides of the venue. These private suites offer the perfect viewing experience in VIP conditions for invited guests.

Hapoel Jerusalem

The Arena serves as the home court for the Hapoel Jerusalem basketball team in domestic and international competitions, and is considered one of the leading basketball arenas.

It also hosts international games, judo tournaments, tennis events, gymnastics competitions, motorcycle races, ball games, and a wide variety of other sporting events.

The facility was designed according to leading international standards and based on the experience of similar arenas worldwide, offering a unique and complete experience for both visitors and event producers.

Accessibility

Accessibility arrangements at Pais Arena Jerusalem include:

Parking: Nearby parking lot with marked accessible spaces for people with disabilities.

Access Routes: Ramps, elevators, and accessible routes lead from the adjacent sidewalk, bus station, and parking lot to the arena entrances. There is an accessible entrance at Gate 7 for wheelchair users.

For Visitors with Visual Impairments:

Tactile guiding path from the adjacent sidewalk to the building entrance, ticket office, and elevators to assist with orientation.

Warning markers on staircases.

Warning signs on doors and transparent entrance facades inside the arena.

Elevators:

All elevators are accessible and connect the entrance level to the upper floors of the arena.
